In the fall of 2018, as owners Christopher and Emily See explored the captivating Icelandic countryside, news of their first pregnancy confirmation arrived. Amidst the breathtaking landscapes of narrow bridges and rocky volcanic cliffs, possibilities seemed to explode before them.

However, upon their return home, their joy turned to sorrow as they experienced the heart-wrenching loss of their baby. Hopelessness enveloped them like a flood, and it was during this dark time that a dear friend intervened. Recognizing the pain they were enduring, she insisted that they meet at Tomato Pie, a local café in Harrisburg, PA. Her simple act of compassion showed Christopher and Emily that they didn't have to face their struggles alone.

While they believed their lives had come to a standstill, little did they know that this meeting would serve as a bridge to their future. Tomato Pie became a place of solace, a gathering spot where the community came together to support one another through life's ups and downs. It was here that Christopher and Emily discovered the power of being present, even in the face of immense pressure.

Four years later, Christopher and Emily seized an opportunity that would forever change their lives. They embarked on the courageous path of purchasing Tomato Pie, a decision that marked the beginning of a new chapter.

And thus, The Table was born.

It is a reminder of the personal journey that Christopher and Emily experienced, where hope emerged from despair and resilience blossomed from heartbreak.
